  We always enjoy a visit to Bistro 161. Chef Fatima creates incredibly flavourful food and there is always something for everyone no matter what their food restrictions. The staff are always very warm and accommodating. It is a wonderful setting for special occasions. I love to meet friends for lunch or a dinner in the patio garden, it is such a beautiful hidden gem. We'll keep coming back. Kudos Chef Fatima! PS: We still miss Franny... she set such a high standard for service.

  Delicious food - paired with tasty local wines. Nice atmosphere, sweet staff. Love it for lunch and dinne.

  We dine at the Bistro 161 on special occasions. Birthdays and anniversaries. For our budget, it's pricy, but then we spend modestly on going out. The food is excellent and has a truly creative flair. Never had a disappointing meal. The service used to be a bit on the slow side, but I'm editing my comments today to reflect some recent changes, namely that the wait staff have really stepped up to make the place an absolute pleasure to visit. Attentive without hovering, friendly and pleased to see you, the front of the house now really compliments the kitchen. Well done everyone.
